Dehong Mao Cha is a sun-dried Pu-erh tea. It was harvested in the spring of 2013 from long-lived tea bushes in the Meng Ku township, Xishuangbanna District, Yunnan Province. This mix of large green-brown leaves and stems were sun-dried to stop the fermentation process. This "raw" Pu-erh has a depth of taste and a lingering sweet, floral flavor. Cup is a burnt umber color tinged with red-orange. It will brew numerous times using short infusions. Excellent low-cost everyday Pu-erh tea value!
