Fragrant Brick is made with "zao xiang" leaves and a blend of leaf grades 7 and 9. This ripe Pu-erh brick will brew to a clear burgundy tea with subtle aromas and a sweet taste. It is not strong despite the coarse leaf grade as the "sweet" water of the Jinggu Township (factory location) was used in fermentation. Inexpensive, it is a good choice for a daily tea with all the complexities of a Pu-erh to enjoy. Brick is 250 grams and was made in 2009.

Pu erh deliciousness

This is the first pu erh brick I have purchased. I have had loose leaf before but this brick is special. The flavor is deep with many layers of taste. It brews nicely to a brown color. It tastes good brewed lightly however I like a strong pu erh. When brewed strong it is wonderful!
