Wuyi Green (Wu Yi Qing Cha)

A green varietal grown in Fujian Province, ours is harvested early in the spring. Its leaves are a rich, bright green color and we find suggestions of fruit in the freshly steeped leaves. In the cup, the brew is aromatic and has a very pleasing aftertaste. We recommend a lighter steep of 2 – 2 1/2 minutes in water temperature of 175–185 degrees.
