A traditional style Bai Mu Dan cake, pressed in 2014, which offers classic white tea flavors and body. The cake is comparatively dark in appearance as the leaves are broken, smaller in size with the result of on-going oxidization. The result of these aging leaves is liquor that is a full golden-yellow color, strong, while offering plenty of mouth feel and a sweet lingering aftertaste. This cake will age quickly, should gain more character in taste but probably best enjoyed in the coming 12-24 months. If one enjoys White Peony, this is a cake to relish as it can be brewed strong, light, and is excellent for a tea while traveling! Pressed 2014.

Supporting adults with disabilities
Silk Road Teas is more than just tea. We are committed to giving back to our community by providing jobs packaging our teas to disabled adults. As the older brother of a disabled person, Ned Heagerty, Silk Road Teas President, recognized the challenges and limited opportunities disabled adults face. So he wanted to make a difference. It is a small step, but it is an action we believe in and will continue to follow. Recently, we were honored by receiving the Employer of the Year Award from Integrated Community Services (ICS) for our commitment to employ persons with disabilities.
