Rose Buds (Mei Gui Ya)

Our rose buds are vibrant in color and full of aroma.  We source these roses from Anhui and Fujian Provinces. The buds are small, tight and have the outer green bud leaves and base of the flower in place. Each flower is a lovely, rich magenta color. Buds offer a strong fragrance to blend with tea, steeped in water or for use as a decoration or a potpourri. Steeped rose buds are served as an aromatic, relaxing beverage. Flavor is subtle yet floral with some hints of fruit. Rose buds can be blended with ripe Pu-erh tea to create a very tasty beverage.  Rose buds contain no caffeine. Harvest date is 2020.
