Keemun is known as the "Burgundy" of black tea. Carefully crafted leaves, uniform in size, steep to a bright red liquor, thus the notation of a burgundy. The taste is full-bodied, brisk,with hints of cocoa and a lingering, sweet bouquet. Enjoyed by many as their breakfast tea as it is enlivening and goes well with food. A refreshing cup most anytime of the day or wonderful stepped, chilled and served as iced tea!
You will note the leaves are large (we milled them minimally) to preserve the natural flavors and bring a richer, deeper flavor to the cup. Each sachet will provide multiple steeps. The sachets are made from biodegradable non-GMO corn silk.
