Disproportionate Design
The main issue is the strainer. It's very small compared to the teapot. The website image is a little misleading at first glance because you're seeing the strainer distorted to a larger size through the tea water. Larger-leaf loose tea will not have room to unfurl, especially if you use enough for a larger cup of tea. But then, if you try to make a typical 8oz. cup of tea, the water level isn't high enough to reach the strainer and fully submerge the leaves. I have yet to find a satisfying ratio of water to tea. All of this would be fine if I could use the teapot without the strainer, but unfortunately the lid only fits into the strainer, not the rim of the teapot. Sorry to say, this teapot won't be getting a lot of use.
