Crafted blending two organic black tea cultivars often referred to as the "mochas of tea". Our traditional iced tea is just that rich and full-bodied, offering malty flavors with delicate spiciness. Tea is certified NOP Organic cultivated in the mountains of Yunnan Province. Packaged in convenient sachets for easy brewing.
Lot Notes. Our lot is made using two grades of Yunnan Black. The combination gives our iced tea a fuller body and depth of flavors not typically found in traditional iced tea offerings.
Tea Facts. Our iced tea is made using a Yunnan black tea cultivar Da Ye, commonly known as "large leaf". Grown at an elevation of 1200 meters. Certified USDA NOP organic. Tea is naturally sweet with medium caffeine.
Flavor Profile. Packaged to sachets, each will steep to creamy, sweet flavors with a thirst-quenching sweetness in the finish. Some flavor of caramel and spice. Taste is clean and lingering. Tea does well steeped using either a hot or cold process.
Brewing Suggestions. Packaging includes five sachets, 1.4 ounces each. Each sachet yields one gallon of iced tea. Use water at boiling or just below. Steep for 5-6 minutes and remove sachet. Let tea cool, then chill with ice and enjoy.
