Our Chai is a "mixed spice tea" made of a robust Indian black and traditional masala spices. Unapologetically spicy, our blend is ripe with fragrant aromas and will steep to pungent, lively flavors. It will nourish your palate and stimulate!
Lot Notes. An organic blend made using a base of a rich, organic Indian black Assam blended with spices of cardamom, cinnamon and ginger. This tea has wonderful, spicy bite.
Tea Facts. The base organic black tea is grown in India. "Masala" is Hindi for the mixture of spices. All our select herbs are carefully sourced for flavor and grown organically. Tea is caffeinated. Black tea base is 2025 harvest. Herbs are fresh and harvested in 2025.
Tasting Notes. The black tea base creates a noticeably sweet flavor that serves to accentuate the spices in the blend and create a complex, layered taste. Cardamon is evident, then hints of cinnamon to enliven. Enjoy a lively mouth feel with plenty of lingering aftertaste! It can be infused with milk and sugar.
Brewing Suggestions. Use a rounded tablespoon of leaf and spices for 8 ounces of water. Water should be at boiling temperature (205-212 F). Steep for 3 minutes. For stronger body, steep 4-5 minutes. Flavors can be added as well as milk or substitutes.

Black tea is a leaf that has been fully oxidized. This rigorous oxidization produces a tea of hearty rich flavors while reducing its astringency and bringing out a natural sweetness.
Flavors will range from bright, brisk, peppery, clean, and smoky to aromatic, bold, malty, nutty, spicy, and sweet. Blacks are known for long, delicately aromatic, and comforting aftertastes. Note, they are often enjoyed with milk or sweetener.
