This year’s Tribute Tea comes from the traditional home of “Yinzhen” in the mountains of Fuding Province. The source tea farm is nestled on the mountainside above Mam Yan village at an elevation of roughly seven hundred meters. Our lot was harvested on March 20, 2026, representing the first pluck of the season.
- Silver Needle is the quintessential tea of the spring harvest, crafted solely from the buds of the Da Hao “Big Sprout” cultivar. The buds are covered with tender downy hairs that give the tea its soft, velvety appearance.
- This exceptional tea offers a gentle woodsy sweetness layered with notes of wild honey and intensely fresh spring aromas.
- The Da Hao cultivar is especially prized for its high amino acid content, contributing body, sweetness, and a rich umami character to the cup.

White teas are produced in a brief window of time in the spring. The best whites are prized as they consist entirely of sweet buds. These teas are minimally processed in two steps – withering and drying.
Steeped white tea is delicate, extremely refreshing, and considered to contain less caffeine. The leaves will open to fresh floral, herbaceous, naturally sweet, and honey-like flavors. A stronger cup can be attained by extending the steep time.
